Live ferry departures at the Port of Dover

At the Port of Dover, drivers and passengers heading for the ferries need to see which sailing is loading and when the next one leaves, at a glance and in all weathers.

Scanlite supplied large-format LED departure signage at the berths. The content had to come from live sailing data for operators including P&O and DFDS, and stay accurate as departures changed.

We integrated the live sailing data, so the signage shows the schedule, destination and estimated departure time for each sailing, with loading status updated automatically.

We supplied the media players and the licensed playout platform, and we monitor the screens remotely so departure information keeps flowing to the berths.
